Painter - Engineering Department

Position Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining color charts and samples of paint used within the hotel,the appearance and aesthetic appeal of all walls, ceilings, and furniture within the front and heart of house while guaranteeing guest satisfaction.  This position will also be responsible for responding to guest calls and other daily assignments as needed.  

 

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum 3 years previous painting experience in a commercial, industrial or residential environment. 

Skilled with rollers, brushes, and spray painting equipment. 

Ability to mix and match paint colors, able to do specialized types of painting. 

Must be able to work in high areas.  

Must be able to hang all types of wall coverings.

Position requires bending, stooping, and lifting. 

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.  

Must be flexible to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.

 Must be customer-service orientated and have excellent hospitality skills.

High school diploma and courses in professional painting preferred.
