Position Summary

Loews Annapolis Hotel is a 215 room full service hotel property in downtown Annapolis.  We are just  walking blocks away from the historic district and the waterfront, and we are situated in the heart of the city.  We boast 20,000 square feet of function space in the hotel and Historic Powerhouse building and we are also the proud home of our three meal restaurant BAROAK Cookhouse and Taproom.

The Hotel maintenance team is seeking a part time Painter to work up to 24  hours per week.  The job responsibilities include general painting and maintenance of building spaces and guest rooms and meeting spaces, and completion of all painting requests.  This can be anything from touch ups to larger painting projects in and around the building to maintain a fresh and crisp appearance in all areas.

The position will report to the Director of Engineering and Security.  The position will be scheduled primarily from 7am - 3pm but other time frames may and will be required depending on the project and the business in the Hotel.

Required Skills and Experience

The qualified candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • High school diploma or its equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in painting, Hospitality preferred
  • Ability to read, write and speak fluent English
  • Ability to bend, stoop and lift (up to 75 lbs.) repetitively
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays
  • Must be guest service oriented and possess excellent Hospitality skills
