To assist with the day to day operation of the Bistro, Teller’s Bar and In Room Dining.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Excellent written and oral communication skills required
Positive interpersonal skills required
Strong ability to problem solve
Proven ability to use proper judgement and decision making.
Knowledge of hotel Food & Beverage operations
Knowledge of provincial liquor laws and Occupational Health & Safety
Knowledge of cost controls such as productivity.
EDUCATION and WORK EXPERIENCE:
Post Secondary Diploma or Degree
3-5 yrs Hotel experience
Previous Supervisory experience an asset
Previous experience in a unionized environment an asset
HOURS: Must be flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
