Job Details

Night Auditors are the sole contact for our guests during the night, and the liaison between guests, house people, engineering and day staff. They are integral to the completion of one day and the smooth beginning of the next. The day shift supervisors rely on the Night Auditors to pass along any concerns or issues occurring overnight so they can be acted on during the day.



  • Balance hotel system and F&B Point of Sale nightly, including rate discrepancies and closing day
  • Handle cash and electronic payments
  • Follow up on guest requests, questions and concerns in a prompt and attentive manner
  • Check guests in and out of the hotel
  • Answer and dispatch security calls
  • Answer phones in a professional and friendly manner
  • Effectively communicate with other departments when dispatching guest requests
  • Enter wake up calls into the telephone system
  • Provide accurate resort information to guests
  • Other duties as required


  • Two years Front Desk or related experience
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
  • Experience in handling money
  • Basic accounting knowledge an asset
  • Computer knowledge required – Word, Excel
  • Computer skills in VING, and ON Command, an asset
  • Must enjoy working through complex analytical problems
  • Must enjoy working in a very active environment
  • Team oriented with an energetic, friendly, cheerful and animated demeanor
  • Proven track record of producing tangible and measurable results
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, develop and recognize employees as required
  • Ability to recognize areas of opportunity for improvement and take self-directed action to correct
  • Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work flexible schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel, including weekends and holidays.
