Job Description

We are currently seeking reliable, qualified candidates to assist with meeting and exceeding the Sheraton standards and offer exceptional service to our guests. Candidates must represent the hotel in a professional, well groomed, and courteous manner.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
*Check guest in and out of rooms; greet and welcome guests.
*Answer incoming calls and operate PBX.
*Prepare daily food and beverage revenue report data by auditing POS revenue, covers, and servers' fees, tips paid out and settlements.
*Run audit reports from the Front office PMS, Credit Card system, and POS reports.
*Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout their shift.
*Input on the PC revenue/ expenses/ allowances to generate the daily reports.
*Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset the system for next day operations.
*Answer guest questions; resolve problem issues that may occur with guests; respond to guest requests and needs and input in StarGuest program.
*Cash handling accuracy including responsibility for House Bank.

Job Requirements

Requirements for the job:
*Knowledge of accounting operations to include all aspects such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, Excel spreadsheet, etc.
*Basic mathematical skills and ability to operate a 10- key by touch.
*Computer skills required.
*Ability to effectively deal with guest concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
*Ability to access and accurately input information using corporate revenue reporting software.
*Must have excellent telephone etiquette skills.
*High school diploma or equivalent required;
*Hotel experience required especially in the area of front office.
*Cash handling experience preferred.
*Must pay close attention to detail.
*Ability to produce high quality accurate work consistently and on time.
*Accurately balance work daily totals of hotel.
*Must be able to work independently without much supervision.
*High organizational skills.
*Must be able to work 11pm-7am shift and work weekends and holidays.
