Job Details



  • To account for and balance daily financial transactions in all profit centers of the hotel (including Rooms and Food & Beverage areas) and report information accurately.

  • To perform a combination of duties related but not limited to check-in and check-out of guests in a pleasant, professional and efficient manner

  • Assume ultimate responsibility for the safety and general welfare of in-house guests each night

  • Balances and audits for accuracy room revenue, food and beverage revenue

  • Assists in the preparation of all reports relevant to daily revenues

  • Prepares various audit worksheets

  • Assumes responsibilities of Manager on Duty overnight

  • Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for property according to cash handling policy and procedures

  • Anticipate sold-out situations, obtain satisfactory alternative accommodations

  • Process all guest requests and relay messages

  • Follow all safety and security procedures for the overnight shift

  • Perform pre-arrival planning duties

  • Valet cars in designated area


  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance

  • Must be able to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping

  • Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time

  • Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats
