KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Job Summary – (Role Summary)

This position is responsible for framing and delivering a conceptual blueprint and roadmap for implementation of information layer and business layer service components. This blueprint will drive the development of key service capabilities that will power the next generation of property solutions Service Oriented Architecture deliverables. The role will require excellent collaboration skills and will be responsible for coordinating and working with the development organizations, solution architects, data architects and other members of Global Solutions Delivery teams towards cross-functional enterprise level deliverables.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities – (Key Activities)

● Working with Business Capability models, analyze and document key Information and Business service components for property systems using standard artifact templates.

● Working with Enterprise Data Architect, define and document property Message Schema based on underlying conceptual information models.

● Mentor middleware and application level architects in the development and use of message schema, and service layer components.

Band Level: 6

Salary range: Base plus potential bonus

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS



Education –

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience.



Experience –



10 years’ experience in conceptual architecture modeling and 5 years’ experience development and deployment.



Technical skills and Knowledge –

● Oracle’s Opera OWS knowledge strongly desired.

● Some experience with architecture modeling disciplines and frameworks. Ability to depict complex subjects in an easy to understand way.

● Experience in driving property systems Information Layer and Business Layer service blueprints from conceptual business capability, process and information models.

● Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of structured analysis and technical design techniques.

● Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

● Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in the software engineering team's knowledge of the customers' business needs.

● Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.

● Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation.

● Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to clients, vendors, senior management and staff.

● This position has a significant impact to deliver assigned IT development projects.

● This position has a moderate impact on project costs, schedule and quality levels of IT development projects.

● Decisions or recommendations, or failure to complete projects could result in delays with considerable expenditure of time, human resources or funds.



CONTACTS (Key Relationships)



Internal Key Relationships

This position will work closely with client management, IT development teams, support teams, data center resources, IT management to discuss projects, provide recommendations on improvement opportunities and operating and financial performance. Provide technical direction and training to more junior level software engineers.



External Key Relationships

Frequent interaction with software/hardware security vendors to consult on new products and discuss/resolve technical problems. Develops relationships with professional organizations, user groups, and security staff at other companies to keep abreast of new trends in corporate and departmental information security.
