Mission Point Resort Controller – year round opportunity/ live on Mackinac Island!


Harper Associates has been exclusively retained by Mission Point Resort in their search for a Resort Controller.  Mission Point Resort has 242 rooms (92 suites), 4 food & beverage outlets, 38,000 sq. banquet/event space, 18 hole putting course, health club, movie theater, full service salon/spa, activities center with gift shop, tennis, croquet, bocce ball and bike rentals.


The Controller will report to CFO.  This is a hands-on position, overseeing a staff of 5 employees in-season.  Will direct daily accounting/financial procedures and operations, payroll, purchasing, night audit etc.


The resort is open on a seasonal basis, all staff live on property. This is permanent, full-time position, based year round on the island.  Excellent salary, paid housing on island, meals when resort is open.  This is a spectacular opportunity for someone excited about living on an island with a rich history, no automobiles, no rush hour traffic and a reputation for a calm, relaxed lifestyle, horse drawn carriages and delicious fudge.


Ideal candidate will have ties to Michigan, has visited Mackinac Island and has worked as an Assistant Controller or Controller with a major luxury hotel chain or resort.
