Job Description


Paséa Hotel & Spa is looking for a Membership Coordinator to join our team!

Job Summary: The Membership Coordinator is responsible for the active recruitment and processing of new members to Club Blue. The job also requires the ongoing servicing of existing members in regard to their status, billing, and membership needs. The Membership Coordinator will be in regular communication with the hotel accounting department to keep all member records current and accurate. Other duties shall include the coordination of special events, account management, data entry, and oversight of prestigious invitation only membership program.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Processes all membership applications and changes in membership
  • Posts yearly and monthly dues to member records
  • Communicates regularly with accounting department to maintain accurate records for all present, past and future members
  • Assists with recruiting new members, including implementing systems to identify individuals with a high propensity to engage with the Club and researching/acquiring opportunities to promote membership via partnerships or third party affiliates.
  • Works with property's various departments to create member events and ensure event details and member specials are successfully communicated. Assists with identifying entertainment, developing budgets, and planning all aspects of events.
  • Creates and maintains the online Club calendar of member events. Works with team to develop events and benefits that maximize member satisfaction, participation and increase membership.
  • Performs general office tasks such as answering phones, filing, distributing mail, responding to email, photocopying, sending/receiving faxes.
  • Maintains records by entering required membership and account data into systems.

Job Requirements:

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Experience with MS Office programs: Word, Excel, Outlook

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous marketing experience
  • Excellent organization and communication skills

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of the job the team member regularly sits for sustained periods of time. Frequently stands or walks from one work area to another. While performing the duties of the job the team member frequently uses fingers to enter data into computer or operate office equipment. The team member occasionally grasps objects. The team member frequently reaches by extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction. The team member occasionally stoops and crouches. The team member regularly talks when communicating with members/callers. The team member regularly needs to hear voices while interacting with members/callers. Exerts up to 25 pounds of force occasionally when moving supplies or materials. The team member is required to have close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data and figures and view a computer terminal. The team member is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned and to make general observations of facilities.

The team member is subject to inside environmental conditions. The noise level is moderate. The team member is subject to hazards that includes proximity to electrical current found in office related equipment. The team member is occasionally subject to atmospheric conditions such as perfumes, odors, or dusts.
