Job Summary:

The Marketing Manager will work in tandem with the General Manager and the Executive Team/Operations Team to develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns, communications, and special events, create and develop strategic alliances and community partnerships, oversee website and monitor social media to include customer review sites, and assist with the organization of promotions for Restaurants and Spa. The Manager will ensure consistent and cohesive branding on all written communication, collateral, and online presence.

Responsibilities/Essential Duties:

  • CRM Program (Customer Relationship Management) - digital marketing strategy
  • Website management
  • On site marketing - development and implementation
  • Creation of external marketing partnerships
  • Social media management
  • Public relations partnership
  • Work with revenue management and sales to identify need periods
  • Develop campaigns to drive revenue to all facets of hotel
  • Oversee CRO program, such as tracking call center analytics, coordinating outbound call campaigns, constantly communicating on-site happenings with off property agents to ensure quality guest reservation experience
  • Support loyalty program by driving enrollments through digital and on-site communications
  • Work with PR team

Job Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of marketing experience, with 3+ years marketing experience within hospitality
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • Experience in developing, executing and measuring strategic marketing initiatives especially in the digital space
  • Proven success with identifying clear short and long term roadmap and effectively project manage complex timelines and deliverables

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Previous 2 years of experience as exempt status
  • Excellent English writing skills and oral proficiency
  • Results-driven accountability for all efforts, which are tracked and evaluated
  • Represents the hotel in a positive and professional light, able to interact well with media, guests, management, suppliers and hotel associates
  • Well organized, strong attention to detail and capable of working quickly and handling many projects and job functions at once
  • Ability to create newsworthy events and understands the PR potential in hotel happenings
  • Impressive samples of writing, projects, campaigns, etc.
  • Able to communicate well with all levels of management, staff, business community, press, VIPs, etc.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office, Publisher, Photoshop or other relevant programs

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, use hands to reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, or crouch.  Must be able to lift/move and exert up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.  Finger dexterity is required to operate a computer keyboard, calculator and other office/IT equipment.
