Position Marketing Manager

Embassy Suites, Scottsdale is recruiting for a Social Media and Marketing Manager to be responsible for developing, implementing and evolving Embassy Suites, Scottsdales social media foundation designed to drive reservations and property awareness while reaching, engaging and responding to customers. The Social mediamarketing manager will also be responsible for and executing media strategy within budget levels coordinating social media efforts and developing internal marketing communications as well as coordinating e-marketing efforts maintain multiple event calendars communicate with internaldepartments to develop a weekly activity guide.

REPORTS TO Director of Sales Marketing

Work with property departments to ensure web sections are accurate, current and
Ensure Internet Specials and other promotions are optimized for maximum sales.
Work with agencies to ensure the web site is optimized for search engine returns
and PPC ads are providing maximum ROI.
Create and implement local e-mail campaigns
Coordinate e-mail capture program in all outlets.
Social Media Champion for the property
Managing all social media channels to include but not limited to Facebook,
Twitter, Pinterest, Foursquare and Google+
Coordinate social media campaigns
Manage pro-active posting of management response to sites such as Trip Advisor
Coordinate marketing and PR related to special events.
Present a positive company image through all phases of public andor customer
Interface positively with other departments, offering assistance when needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements Minimum 2 years experience in using social media as a marketing tool required.
additional information 2 years marketing, and data management experience. Prior Hoteltravel industry experience preferred. Excellent written skills sufficient to produce sales and marketing communication that properly reflects the Embassy image. Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team. Ability to meet and work effectively under time and resource constraints.
Physical Requirements
Ability to operate with stress, time constraints, physical activity and sitting and standing for periods of time.
