Job Description


Job OverviewThis position requires an individual that will be an integral part of the marketing team that will support and implement marketing communication for the resort both internally and externally. This position will focus on creating and updating graphics and other materials for online and offline media, marketing materials, collateral, social media and Web sites.  All communication must adhere to the style guidelines as set forth by the resort.
 Essential Functions
  • Designs art and copy layouts for material to be presented in various print and digital medias
  • Assists marketing department in generating brand-compliant, thoughtfully-designed collateral, advertising, presentations, HTML and internally requested deliverables
  • Conceptualize, design and produce finished artwork or product on a tight deadline
  • Maintains and upholds Terranea Resort’s consistency of design and brand standards in all materials
  • High knowledge of layout principles, esthetic design concepts and current design software
  • Prepares notes and instructions for vendors who assemble and prepare final layouts for printing
  • Completes assignments on time and at optimum quality
  • Maintains, organizes, prioritizes and tracks projects on a daily basis
  • Manages and organizes project library of completed work
  • Assists in creation and deployment of property marketing e-mail blasts and provides reporting upon completion
  • Assists with maintaining and updating the Terranea.com content through the CMT and MCC tools
  • Assists with maintaining and updating other Terranea owned online venues (TerraneaLife, TerraneaVillas, etc.)
  • Assists with social media projects including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, the Terranea Blog, and any other platform needed, keeping to strict sizing guidelines
  • Manages design of internal communications for guests as well as associates
  • Manages website event calendar listings
  • Assists with copy creation and editing
  • Assists with special events and meetings on property when needed - may be required to work some weekends and evenings
  • Assists Experiential Marketing Manager with planning and execution of special events as well as cultivating and maintaining relationships with partners
  • Assists Social Communications Manager with social planning as well as as special projects
  • Assists Visual Content Designer with photography/videography shoots
  • Assists with special/interactive/digital projects as directed by Creative Manager
  • Assists Marketing Coordinator with processing invoices and expense reports 


 

Job Requirements


  • Two years of professional graphic design experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or similar field from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook), Adobe Creative Software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Acrobat)
  • Understanding of Apple (Mac) and Windows (PC) based computer systems
  • Attention to detail, proofing abilities, excellent follow through
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional customer-service approach
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven business professional environment
