Position Summary:

This position will work with Hilton OTA and FIT sales teams to evaluate new direct connect opportunities and help coordinate the implementations of new direct connect programs. In this role the team member will make sure that new opportunities align with the distribution strategy goals.

In this role the candidate will proactively develop the International Sales FIT direct connect target list in conjunction with International Sales Offices; identifying accounts that have the potential to bring incremental business or drive efficiencies. Will work to educate and support the International Sales team to pursue direct connect opportunities. Will work with target accounts to articulate the value proposition of a Direct Connect. Also compile technical assessments of potential new clients working to ensure centrally agreed FIT direct connect contracts meet the strategic and commercial goals of the department and company. Consults with our clients on the optimal design of their integration solution helping to manage the direct connect implementation process and provide level 2/3 post go-live support. Working with the rate loading project team on adding new programs to the Direct Connect program as well as coordinating the launch of sales or promo rates. Will be responsible for scheduling and conducting implementation meetings / calls to review the process of connectivity and discuss technical implementation with the client. Work with Hilton IT to assure that direct connect integration requirements are understood and implemented in a timely manner. Will Continue to implement different strategies and tactics to optimize distribution from direct connect partners in the international estate.

What will I be doing?

Assessment & Contracting Process

* Technical input/coaching during the Assessment and Contracting process of any new deployment.

* Complete technical assessment of potential new clients in the international estate.

* Schedule and conduct technical meetings / calls to review process of connectivity and discuss technical implementation with client - aid in the design as required.

Implementation Process

* Take ownership or provide support for any technical activities in the Implementation process as required by Director.

* Make sure that the partners understand all business aspects of the program

* Make sure all rate loading has been submitted and is being tracked

Account Management Process

* Post go-live support for Direct Connect Accounts for the properties in the international estate.

* Focus on optimizing Hilton Worldwide participation across multiple channels via hotel and rate plan set-up, technical enhancements, systems audits and online channel analysis.

* Support the process by which we continuously assess the "health" of our connected Accounts.

* Work with the Sales teams to develop and execute corrective action plans.

* Review look to book reports for accounts.

* Review error reports to ensure transactions are being used correctly.

* Review channel production reports for clients to ensure Direct Connect is being used to its fullest

Hospitality experience, project management, communication skills, knowledge of distribution and distribution systems
