Job Details

The Junior Sous Chef will report directly to the Sous Chef & Executive Chef.  The candidate should have full knowledge of a kitchen and also have managerial qualities.  It is an entry level management position with great potential to grow within the company and become a Sous Chef.  The Junior Sous chef would assist in leading the kitchen staff in a smooth, organized operation and assist in keeping the morale of the employees high, and also to play a role in keeping our Guest Satisfaction Scores high where they need to be.  The Junior Sous Chef must have knowledgable cooking skills as well as experience and strong familiarizing of different foods and how to prepare them.

Must have previous kitchen experience in a hotel or restaurant. 

Must be ready to learn

Must be able to assist in leading a team in a positive direction

Must be able to stand for 10 hours at a time, kneel, stoop, bend.

Must be able to push /pull a cart of 75 pounds or more
