IT Technician/Low Voltage Technician

Position Summary
Job Specific
 Operates low-voltage test equipment
 Receives and processes guest requests for telephone maintenance
 Prioritizes telephone and/or cabling requests to best meet guest needs
 Communicates out of the ordinary telephone requests to Telecommunications Management to ascertain proper budgetary funding
 Coordinates the scheduling of moves, adds and changes with requesting department(s)
 Maintains appropriate files of move, add and change requests
 Installs, with assistance from the Engineering Department, telecommunication and other types of required cable
 Assists in evaluating telephone jobs to determine in-house completion or contracting of an outside vendor
 Responds and resolves guest room internet and telephone problems
 Assists in low voltage wiring for ALC system
 Assists with repairs of in-room audio visual systems
 Maintains communications for cable signaling to guestrooms, function rooms & public space
 Attends meetings, as required, to remain up-to-date on hotel related activities
 Maintains required logs, records and files to document department operations
 Duties may require travel amongst all LHUO properties
 Send daily emails to the Communication Team with the completed and outstanding task
 Other duties as assigned

 Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times
 Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters of significance
 Is polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management and fellow employees
 Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards
 Complies with required safety regulations and procedures
 Attends appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions
 Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area
 Complies with hotel standards, policies and rules
 Recycles whenever possible
 Remains current with hotel information and changes
 Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards
Required Skills and Experience
 High School Diploma or equivalent
 One + years telephone or cable TV experience
 Knowledge of radio dispatch procedures
 Ability to operate computers and basic office equipment
 Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
Work Permit:
