Job Description

Responsible for accurately handling any cash, room charges, credit card charges or member charge transactions also responsible for pleasantly answering the telephone, taking orders and processing those orders

Responsibilities

1. Maintain an atmosphere of pleasant hospitality on phone and in Guest Room Dining area, including clear communication with guests, staff and management.
2. Answer telephone in a timely manner, following proper telephone etiquette and order taking procedures and readily answering any questions courteously.
3. Insure proper flow of all paperwork as pertains to orders, amenities and special requests.
4. Check daily activities board that pertains to Guest Room Dining and make captain aware of those activities.
5. Have a complete understanding of all menu items available through Guest Room Dining.
6. Able to open servers and shift menus and do all paperwork. Also, have working knowledge of NCR capabilities pertaining to Guest Room Dining.
7. Maintain good cleanliness standards and proper care of all supplies and equipment

Qualifications

*

Must possess basic math skills, good telephone etiquette, good handwriting skills, work well under pressure and be detail oriented.

*

Must have previous cash handling experience

* Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
