Job Description


Assists the Manager of Human Resources in the daily administration of all human resources functions. Performs Administrative and Human Resources Duties including the following:

Primary:

  • Provide support to Manager, Team Member Services (Human Resources) for daily functions and projects
  • Handle all aspects of the recruitment, selection and hiring process including background screening, employment offer letters; I-9's
  • Maintain and proactively update employment and other (insurance/medical/etc) files
  • Data entry and processing of employment transactions such as hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, and change of status into HRIS - ADP
  • Assist with data entry and support for payroll as needed
  • Generate employment reports for tracking of initiatives, projects and/or compliance; as needed
  • Handle new hire team member paperwork, nametags and parking cards & stickers
  • Order and maintain office supplies; manage and update human resources bulletin boards as needed
  • Assist with addressing team member concerns; respond to inquiries

Secondary:

Assist with:

Employee Relations matters, investigations, performance documentation and action

  • Coordinating community involvement activities, company communications, and team member events and activities; and training courses
  • Coordinating and/or conducting new hire orientation
  • Managing insurance programs/benefits and related billing (Medical, dental, vision, disability, life)
  • Leaves of absence, accommodations, benefit collection as needed
  • Administration of 401(K) program, team member benefits and incentive programs

 

Position Requirements:

  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish- Fluent in Spanish verbal and written communication
  • Professional, Helpful, friendly, approachable communication style
  • Minimum of 3 years previous Human Resources experience
  • Min 2 years Prior recruitment experience
  • Professional, polished appearance and presentation skills
    • Ability to speak and present in large groups

  • Strong business writing skills
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Min 1-2 years Payroll processing experience using ADP
  • Thorough knowledge of state and federal employment and labor laws including leaves of absence
  • Prior benefit administration experience a plus
  • Prior employee relations experience: conducting investigations, handling terminations, desired
  • Previous hospitality experience preferred
  • Shift times are subject to change at any time, based on Department's needs. Applicants must be able to provide flexible availability, and can be scheduled for various shift times as needed by the Department Manager.
