We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a HR Assistant for our Corporate office in Chicago, IL. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and secretarial support to the Human Resources department

Job Duties include:

* Answer phones and take messages and prepares time sheets & travel expense reports.

* Open and sort incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail and messenger requests.

* Makes photocopies, sends faxes, and files specific departmental paperwork. Maintains specific staff files in an organized and current manner. Updates specific staff files, calendars, address lists, and mailing labels.

* Types and distributes internal and external correspondence. Composes letters and memos as requested. Independently responds to and/or initiates routine correspondence.

* Makes meeting and travel arrangements as required, including but not limited to, phone calls to participants to set up meetings, memos to confirm meetings, reserving conference rooms, and ordering lunch/dinner as necessary.

* Maintain high level of confidentiality in all interactions.

* Being a team player is an essential part of the job.

* Handle incoming and outgoing mail and distribute promptly upon receipt.

* Retrieve/return files from/to other departments/companies; deliver/pick-up specified documents to/from other departments/companies.

* Special projects as assigned.

Requirements include:

* Bachelor's degree

* Excellent written and communication skills

* High level of confidentiality
