About the role
In your new role as Human Resources Advisor, you will be jointly responsible for the overall function of the Human Resources department, and will act as a point of contact and support for hotel team members of all levels, in areas such as Learning and Development, Recruitment, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), Immigration and any other activities as directed by the Human Resources Director. You will also have extensive involvement in Employee Relations activities, and will assist with driving Global HR initiatives, company vision, values and our 'Blue Energy' culture at the hotel.

What are we looking for?

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Human Resources Coordinator/similar role (preferably within the Hotel/Hospitality Industry)
  • Strong Employment Relations experience and knowledge of NZ employment & Health & Safety legislation
  • Extensive background in team member engagement, recruitment (including INZ requirements) and learning and development activities
  • Positive attitude & the flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer service, both internally and externally
  • A Tertiary level qualification or equivalent experience
