The Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and Payroll Specialist assists with employee data management and payroll related activities. The position provides support by producing and reviewing reports, data integrity checks, and various payroll tasks related to deductions, benefits, wage garnishments and computer system issues.



1.Serve as primary payroll backup.
2.Responsible for a group of properties to ensure processes are being followed and assistance given when necessary.
3.Administer wage garnishments.
4.Assist with payroll related issues.
5.Investigatesresponds to tax notices.


1.Assist with system integrity projects, identifying and clean-up efforts
2.MonitorMaintain vendor files feeds for necessary changes andor issues. Communicate necessary changes to appropriate parties.
3.Prepares reports and ad hoc queries for employee data contained in the HRIS in response to requests from users within Human Resources and from users in other departments.
4.Perform monthly audits of benefits billing , data analysis, identify trends and ensure all inaccuracies are addressed
5.Support HR function in the planning, development and implementation of data integrity initiatives.
6.Support special projects as needed.

Associates degree in Accounting or related field of study or a minimum of two years experience in payrollhuman resources.
Ability to read, write and speak the English language fluently.
Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.


Prior experience using UltiPro preferred.
Prior experience working in hospitality preferred.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule.
Get it done attitude with willingness to work long hours if unexpected projects or tight deadlines require it.
Adaptable in a constantly changing environment, organized and able to handle pressure well.
Excellent time management and problem resolution skills.
Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Must be willing to pitch-in and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner.
Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
