Position Description:

To perform HR related duties on a professional level and works closely with the HRD on key projects and organizational initiatives. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, onboarding, policy implementation, performance management, recruitment/staffing, and employment law compliance.


1. Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all associates. Assists in the implementation of policies and procedures.
2. Administers the compensation and performance evaluation programs for all salaried and hourly associates.
3. Act as key recruitment contact. Administers company protocols regarding selection and recruitment that includes but is not limited to the following; Creates employment ads and postings, review resumes/applications, coordinate interviews, manage pre-employment processes.
4. Develop community relationships by attending local job fairs.
5. Facilitates and manages new hire orientation.
6. Handles employee relations counseling and performance coaching. Escalates issues as appropriate
7. Maintains associate data within various company systems records and compiles reports from the database to help drive business objectives and audits.
8. Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefit laws and regulations.
9. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

JOB SKILLS: • Computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint • ADP/WFN experience preferred • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

REQUIREMENTS: • 3-5 years of HR experience • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline preferred • HR professional certification completed or in process • Hospitality industry experience a plus • Ability to manage multiple projects
