PURPOSE: The HR and Finance Systems administrator is a dual role working across the Finance and HR Team and will be responsible for the updating and maintenance of the Hyatt Employment Information System and Finance department administrative assistant coordinating information and document flow.


Hyatt Employment Information System (EIS)

Updates the Hyatt Regency Calgary Employment Information System when in receipt of a fully completed employment status change form from the line managers:

* Leave of Absence
* Maternity / Paternity / Adoption
* Dual Rate
* Dual Code

Uploads the Status Change Form into the employee e-file.

Provide Paymaster with a copy of the Status Change Form (*If required).

Updates EIS with dayforce data once notified of the changes by the Paymaster

Completes all the EIS Reporting that is required for the Corporate Office

Completes the EIS audits as defined by Corporate Office

Ensures that all employees on a temporary SIN number have the appropriate immigration paperwork to support their employment.

HR Termination Process

* Using the termination form, terminating the employee in EIS.
* Ensuring manager returns the employee security pass and uniform.

HR Administration

* Writes and provides employees with confirmation of employment records letters to support applications for mortgages, leases, immigration requests.
* Completes all Human Resources filing by uploading into the employee e-file

* All new hire paperwork
* All status change forms
* All WCB paperwork

Finance Responsibilities
* Coordinating all non-group invoicing
* Posting non credit card deposits in Opera
* Monitoring & coordinating Shared Accounting mailbox
* Issuing electronic purchase orders
* Reconciling daily credit card payments
* Other finance related duties as required

* Minimum 3-5 years of using a HR System.
* Good understanding of Alberta Employment Standards
* Ceridian Dayforce experience an asset.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
* Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Excellent attention to detail
