The Hilton Bellevue is looking for an outstanding Housekeeping Supervisor to join the team.
The Housekeeping Supervisor will work closely with the Director of Housekeeping and be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the entire hotel. The right candidate for this very important role will be friendly, outgoing, professional, have a positive demeanor and excellent communication skills. The Supervisor should be able to delegate effectively, demonstrate initiative, take ownership of issues and have good problem solving skills.
Must be able to communicate in English verbally and written. The Housekeeping Supervisor will report directly to the Director of Housekeeping.
Duties and Supporting Responsibilities include:
• Be proactive not reactive to business levels to insure proper quality
• Make sure that all of the Rooms areas have the proper tools so that each team member can do their job properly
• Works as a team with team members in the Housekeeping department and supporting departments.
• Train and develop the team and encourage growth within the hotel and company.
• Must be able to work under pressure and handle stress.
Flexibility is a must, work weekends, holidays and evenings
Must have moderate computer skills and the ability to learn the PMS System.
While performing the duties of this position, the Supervisor is regularly required to stand for up to 8 hours
Must be able to lift and or move up to 20lbs regularly
