Housekeeping Room Attendant

Position Summary

Loews Vanderbilt Hotel is seeking a Room Attendant to join our team. Loews Vanderbilt Hotel is a Four-Diamond hotel, luxury 340 room hotel with 25,000 square feet of meeting/function space, and Mason's Restaurant and Mason's Bar. The Room Attendant is a part of the Housekeeping Team. This Team Member cleans hotel guest rooms with a high level of quality as set by hotel standards. The Room Attendant must offer superb service to hotel guests by anticipating guests needs, demonstrating sensitivity and responsiveness while ensuring complete guest satisfaction.

  • Cleaning hotel rooms
  • Making beds
  • Vacuuming floors
  • Dusting furnitures
  • Cleaning glasses and bathrooms
  • Ensuring cleanliness of guess rooms to Loews standards and guest satisfaction
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience
  • Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, lift above head repetitively for 6 to 8 hours
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills required
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be able to push or lift up to 35 pounds
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Able to work flexible shifts including week days, weekends and and holidays
  • Ability to communicate with guests
