Housekeeping Quality Supervisor
Loews Vanderbilt Hotel is seeking a Housekeeping Quality Supervisor to join our team. Loews Vanderbilt Hotel is a Four-Diamond hotel, luxury 340 room hotel with 25,000 square feet of meeting/function space, and Mason's Restaurant and Mason's Bar. The Quality Supervisor assists the Director of Housekeeping by ensuring all new and existing team members are trained to provide consistent 4-Diamond and above service by maintaining complete adherence to all Loews Hotels standards related to the housekeeping function. The Quality Supervisor conducts departmental orientation and training sessions for all new team members while monitoring and maintaining new hire and ongoing housekeeping training programs.
-Ability to present effective new hire orientation program for all newly hired housekeeping team members.
-Document each step of on-boarding and training process
-Complete and track training checklists on all new hires
-Inspect and score rooms of new hires and coach until certified
-Assist managers and supervisors in retraining existing staff and coach, as needed.
-Participate in quality checks of Room Attendants by inspecting/scoring rooms
-Monitor consistency of housekeeping product and service for the department, reporting any variances
-Communicate and implement updates to housekeeping standards and initiatives
-Create quality assurance teams to include all areas of housekeeping
-Oversee and conduct compliance training in accordance with applicable State and Federal Regulations
-Assist with the development and implementation of safety incentive programs
-Regular attendance in conformance with standards
