Housekeeper I (ON CALL)

Hilton Waikiki Beach Hotel is seeking someone with previous hospitality experience specifically in the Housekeeping department. Flexible working schedule able to work weekends, evenings & holidays.
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing “Can Do Attitude”, genuine hospitality and by exceeding guest expectations.
Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service
Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction Guarantee
Performs other duties as required to provide “Can Do Attitude” and genuine hospitality
Cleans and prepares guest rooms daily in accordance with Hilton standards.
Knowledgeable and prior experience in room and general cleaning.
Prepares bed and bath linen
Cleans and straightens room
Displays and replaces amenities and promotional materials
Orders repairs as appropriate
Returns articles left in rooms to Lost and Found
Maintains supplies necessary to clean rooms efficiently
Keeps supply cart stocked
Organizes and cleans linen closet – removes soiled, torn or worn linen
- Operates floor machines
- Laundry experience
- Chemical handling
- Carpet shampoo and window cleaning
Notifies Housekeeping Department of stock shortages and/or malfunctioning equipment
Adheres to hotel policies and procedures
Attends work on time as scheduled
Follows safety and security rules and procedures
- Must be able to lift/ push and pull up to 50lbs.
High School or better.Experience
Licenses & Certifications
