Provide exceptional customer service
Follow all policies, procedures, federal, state and local regulations.
Follow daily GM routine and staff meeting schedules
Inspect guest rooms daily and walk property daily
Maintain property condition to be guest ready and compliant with brand requirements
Maintain supply inventories to serve guests with no interruptions
Follow budget directives and keep expenses in line.
Forecast weekly revenue and scheduled hours
Maintain staffing, hire new employee and maintain accurate employee files
Ensure newly hired employees are fully trained
Follow safety procedures, conduct fire drills and document all incidents
Be involved in outside and inside sales activities
Participate in CVB and other community events
Be ready and visible to guests during peak business hours
Complete all brand required assignments and comply with their standards
Fill in where needed to maintain smooth operation
Respond to all reviews and address deficiencies on time
Two years general manager experience preferred
Managerial experience in Hilton hotels preferred
Must be friendly, reliable, and able to anticipate wants and needs of guests and associates
Able to follow through with assignments and meet deadlines
Able to handle complaints to satisfy guests and to resolve employee issues
Able to lead by example and promote team building
Willing to take course and certifications in safety and brand required training
