The Holiday Inn Express Washington DC East/Andrews AFB is seeking a top performing Hotel General Manager .
The desired candidate will have demonstrated leadership by leading teams to exemplary guest satisfaction and revenue goals.

To be considered for this position you must have prior hotel general manager experience with IHG, Marriott, Hilton experience preferred, be hands on, a team player and have a solid work history.
In this position you will be responsible for:
*Compliance with franchise standards.
*Delegate authority and supervise work activities of all employees
*Ensure team members receive proper training for each position
*Ensure each department is properly staffed and labor dollars are spent in proportion with revenue
*Handle and resolve employee issues
*Ensures employee paperwork, work schedules and payroll are completed and submitted in a timely manner
*Monitor cost controls on a regular basis through ordering, purchasing and budget control
*Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and outside grounds for cleanliness and appearance
*Answers guests' complaints and resolves problems to maintain Guest Satisfaction
*Monitor OTA sites and respond to all guest comments
*Accountable for all AR accounts
*Ensure bank deposits are made daily
*Audit daily reports
*Assist with the sales department in cold calling and site visits
*Monitor rates on a daily basis, to achieve best possible ADR, RevPar and Occupancy
*Available 24/7 with reliable transportation, must be willing to work shifts if needed in any department
Minimum 3 years of hotel general manager experience with an IHG, Hilton or Marriott hotel
Have a valid drivers license with reliable transportation
Minimum high school diploma
Be able to speak and write English fluently
