POSITION START DATE: September 11, 2017
BASIC FUNCTION: The Host is responsible for greeting and seating of guests as they enter the restaurant.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
v High school diploma or equivalent.
v One-year restaurant experience.
v Good customer service skills.
v Pleasant personality.
1.Help plan and coordinate timely seating of guests.
2.Responsible for hanging guests’ coats.
3.Take reservations in person and over the phone, using professional language at all times.
4.Answer telephones, responding to guest’s questions in a professional manner.
5.Knowledge of resort services and amenities.
6.Maintain cleanliness of coatroom and podium areas.
7.Maintain perfectly clean uniform.
1.Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
2.Assist Captains and Backwaiters on an as-needed basis.
3.Clean and re-set tables as needed.
4.Assist in other Food and Beverage departments as needed.
Dimly lit, carpeted, climate controlled environment. Hard kitchen floors with occasional slippery or greasy areas. Handling hot china and silver.
