ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Communicate all guest requests to an appropriate supervisor in a timely and professional manner.
Inventory and supply guest room honor bars on a daily basis, maintaining par stock levels and reporting to appropriate departments all usage by item, room number and cost.
Maintain an adequate supply of stock and inventory sheets on liquor/ amenity carts.
Prepares requisitions, orders, or other documents requisitioning new or additional stock items.
Examines and inspects stock items for wear or defects, reports damage to supervisor, and recommends disposal of or return of items to vendor.
Inform the Front Desk in a timely manner of late charges to guest rooms due to the honor bar use.
Guard against pilferage of supply carts.
Reviews stock to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess or close to be expired stock.
Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and instruments, and storage areas to ensure compliance to safety regulations.
Regular attendance in conformance with Hotel standards is essential to the successful performance of this position.
Fully comply with Provenance hotels rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of the hotel facilities.
Attend mandatory meetings.
