Summary: Accommodates guests of the hotel by performing the following duties, with other duties may be assigned.
Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
Transmits and receives telephone messages.
Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
Keeps records of room availability and guests' accounts.
Computes bill, collects payment, and makes change for guests.
Makes and confirms reservations.
Verify cash funds at start of shift.
Check-in and check-out guests as necessary.
Verify room status.
Complete credit limit (verify all departing guest have not exceed limit)
Pre-block all groups.
Verify all arrivals with Special Services are blocked.
Assure all package guest receive an envelope with coupons for breakfast.
Pass on any pertinent information to the next shift Supervisor.
Complete all traces.
Resolve discrepancies with housekeeping.
Prepare group information for the next two days.
No Supervisory Responsibilities
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; bend; walk; use hands or finger; or feel objects, tools or controls; lift boxes (up to 15 pounds); talk and hear. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision to a computer screen.
Customer Service Experience; Hilton Hotel preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
