The responsibility of this position provides cleaning service to a specified number of guest rooms daily, as assigned. Follows specific guidelines to ensure that every room is presented according to the highest standards of cleanliness. Duties include
Clean assigned rooms, including toilets, floors, mirrors, tubs, vacuuming of floors and changing linens
Check all lamps and fixtures for burned-out bulbs and check TVs and clock radios to ensure proper working condition
Report maintenance needs in guest rooms to the Supervisor
Respond promptly to guest requests
Follow safety guidelines.
Interact with guests in a friendly manner while providing service and information.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
Ability to Stand, walk, for extended period of time.
oAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, ascend and descend stairs.
oAbility to perceive sizes, shapes, temperatures, textures, smell specific orders and aromas, perceive depth and distance.
oMaintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure at a rapid pace and deal effectively with management, employees and guests.
oAbility to transport, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items up to 50 lbs.
Requires climbing up to 4 feet of heights.

- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Work Habits
In order to maintain a positive guest and associate experience, your work habits should always meet and strive to exceed hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality and attendance. You should be adaptable to change in your work area and in hotel procedures with a willingness to learn new skills andor improve existing ones, have the ability to solve routine problems that occur on the job and ask for help whenever you are not sure how to do something.

Safety Security
The safety and security of our guests and associates is of utmost importance to Crescent. Every Crescent associate should adhere to the hotel security policies and procedures, particularly regarding key controls, lifting heavy objects, using chemicals, and effectively reporting safety hazards and safety concerns.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. The nature of the hotel business is that we are at work when the guests are here. This means that the hotel is busiest during weekends holiday. Weekends Holidays are required.
Shift times for this position are between the hours of 5am-1pm. Because breakfast service starts promptly at 6am. Punctuality at the 5am start to food preparation is required.
