Develop, promote and sell to the group segment in local and national markets, including corporate and or association direct, on site agencies, 3rd party travel bookers, e.g.. HelmsBriscoe.
Generate hotel/ awareness through direct phone sales; direct sales calls, tradeshows, 3rd party relationships and networking groups.
Work closely with other team members including the Trump Hotel Collection Group Sales Managers to solicit, sell and confirm business required to meet budgeted sales goals.
-Candidates should possess the ability to qualify and solicit luxury buyers of travel. This position requires a high degree of independent judgment and discretion on decision making.
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and direct sales goals including outside sales calls, prospecting calls, site inspections, and entertainment as specified.
Luxury hotel Sales preferred (minimum of 2 years) with a proven sales track record of meeting and exceeding goals.
Proven track record in prospecting for new business and closing business.
Ability to make quick decisions and flexibility to work in a hectic and diverse work environment.
Strong ability to prioritize, organize, and manage competing priorities.
Possess well-developed leadership and problem solving skills.
Must be able to build and maintain business relationships both internally and externally.
Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
