The Wylie Inn and Conference Center, located in Beverly, MA, is currently seeking an experienced highly motivated and energetic Corporate Group Sales Manager.
The mission of the corporate group sales manager is to increase CMP and DMP group sales at our IACC Conference Center and Inn, through increased visibility, market analysis, community involvement, and direct sales techniques. Stimulate growth by cultivating existing accounts, seeking relationships with new customers and closing on new business to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
Position requires a monthly quota of outside sale calls, prospecting sales calls and revenue from definite bookings.
Ideal candidate will need to have a prior proven track record of success in corporate group market. Candidates must be organized, have great time management skills and be a team player. Also have strong computer skills with Microsoft applications and knowledge of Visual One or Delphi preferred.
Education: Hospitality 4 year college degree preferred.
Prior Experience: Minimum of 4 years in hotel sales environment.
The hotel functions seven (7) days a week and twenty-four (24) hours per day. All employees, both management and hourly, must realize this fact and be aware that at times it may be necessary to move employees from their accustomed shift as business demands.
