Job Summary:

The Group Sales Coordinator will work directly with the group sales manager to respond to incoming group proposals and is to assist in the effective tracking, measurement and reporting of group business through Salesforce.  The Coordinator acts as group leader’s main contact when in-resort and assists with all aspects of group services. Up-sell is a priority for all groups who need: group lift tickets, ski school, on-mountain F&B, lodging, and rentals.  Coordinator will assist with site visits, represent Kirkwood at group receptions, and deliver lift tickets as needed. Position is also to provide administrative support for the group sales department.  

Job Requirements:

  • 2-Year undergraduate degree in marketing, business, communications or related field preferred.
  • Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Expierence in the following software is preferred but not required: Salesforce, RPOS, LMS.
  • Minimum one to two years travel industry, hospitality, meeting planning, convention/catering and/or event coordination experience desired. Prior sales experience preferred.
  • Valid US Drivers License and acceptable DMV record.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to our guests.
  • Ability to work under pressure while not sacrificing guest focus.
