What will I be doing?


As a Line Cook- Level 3 with the Grand Caffe you will be responsible for overseeing the buffet; replenishing food items maintaining the cleanliness of the area, as well as potential of operating an omelet station. The Line Cook-Level 3 must be comfortable answering any Guest inquiries regarding buffet food items (Description of item, ingredients) while also recognizing dietary needs. The Line Cook-Level 3 is required to maintain their work space, including counter tops, utensils, equipment in a clean and sanitary condition in accordance with company policy and Health and Safety standards.

Experience



  • Experience working as a Line Cook is an asset (not a requirement)


Skills



  • General food knowledge required

  • A passion for working in culinary

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a high volume restaurant

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to work well within a Team


 Requirements



  • Required to provide a certificate proving completion of the Health and Safety Awareness Training for Workers (e-course provided by the Ministry of Labour)

  • Must be available to work morning shifts
