The newly branded and completely renovated Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites, located at 6305 East Broad Street in Columbus, Ohio is currently seeking qualified candidates for the General Manager position.

The General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the hotel, meeting or exceeding planned objectives for revenue and profit. The General Manager must insure superior service is provided to all guests and product quality standards are met.

Candidates must have at least 5 years proven successful career as a General Manager.  Must have previous Holiday Inn (IHG) experience as a Geneal Manager.

Knowledge of the Columbus Ohio market is preferred.

This position reports to the Vice President of Operations- SE Region.

The Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites is owned and operated by Buffalo Lodging Associates. We own and operate hotels in the United States and Canada. Our hotel brands include Hilton Hotels, Marriott International, Choice Hotels,  and InterContinental hotel franchises.

LOCAL CANDIDATES WITH HOLIDAY INN EXPERIENCE AND LIMITED SERVICE WILL BE GIVEN PREFERENCE.

* Must have previous experience as a General Manager of branded hotels required.

* A Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four year college or university in hotel management or related business.

* Experience with analyzing profit and loss statements and other financial data is essential.

* Proficiency in computer programs; including Internet, Intranet; Property Management Systems, WORD, EXCEL.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Able to support a team by exhibiting objectivity and openness to the views of others and contributes to building a positive team spirit.

* Must achieve BLA minimum scoring standards on all Brand Quality Assurance inspections.

* Must be able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.

* Must have proven record of maximizing Customer Service by attaining Company's established or better on Franchise Guest Service Scores.
