Job Description

The Giant Center F&B Warehouse Clerk is responsible for assisting with receiving goods delivered to the Giant Center, Hersheypark Stadium, and Hersheypark while maintaining cleanliness of all food and non-food storage areas to include coolers and freezers. This is a fast-pace environment that can expose employees to various entertainment venue environments.

 

Job Functions:

Warehouse Clerks may be required to do one or all of the following tasks:

  • Maintain cleanliness of the dish room, pot washing areas, and all other non-food storage areas; including sweeping and moping the kitchen floor
  • Wash and sanitize all kitchen equipment, dishwasher, pots, pans, dishes, and utensils
  • Remove all trash and breakdown boxes as needed
  • Verify product quality, packaging, freshness, and wholesomeness
  • Distribute all products to their proper areas within predetermined time frames
  • Periodic inventory as posted
  • Filling stand orders by phone and written requests
  • Assisting in the costing process of menus and food items
  • Assist in moving food inventory and equipment between various locations of the Giant Center and/or other properties
  • Accept and verify delivers from vendors
  • Assist with the set-up of equipment needs for all Food and Beverage areas before, during and after each event at the Giant Center / Stadium.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Previous food & beverage warehouse experience preferred
  • Must be comfortable working on a computer
  • Must have reliable, steady transportation to and from work
  • Must be able to speak, write, and understand English
  • Must be computer literate with windows based programs
  • Proper training in sanitation and alcohol handling (Serv-Safe/TIPs) will be required (training will be provided)
  • Must display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelines

 

Working Conditions:

  • Hours will vary according to event schedules; however, applicants must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be comfortable working 4-10 hour shifts which include 12-10pm
  • Must be able to work in combination of indoor and outdoor weather conditions
  • Able to tolerate extreme temperature changes, i.e. hot kitchen to below freezing freezers
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Physical requirements include standing, bending, sitting, and walking
  • Must be able to lift up to safely lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
  • Must provide proper footwear
