Job Description


Part-Time. Must have flexible schedule. Must be available on weekends and holidays.

Position Summary: Represents the hotel to the guests throughout all stages of the guest's stay. Assists with a guest's reservation status and identifies how long the guest will stay. Helps guests complete registration and then assigns rooms, accommodating special requests whenever possible. Verifies the guest's method of payment and follows established credit-checking procedures. Places guest and room information in the appropriate front desk racks and communicates this information to the appropriate hotel personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Register & process guests and their assigned rooms.
  • Accommodate guest requests.
  • Communicating with hotel staff on the status of guest rooms.
  • Up Selling guest rooms and promoting hotel services.
  • Maintain a clean and neat front desk area.
  • Act as an ambassador to the hotel.

Qualifications:

  • Applicant must have strong communication skills.
  • Maintain a friendly yet professional demeanor.
  • Opera experience a plus.
  • Experience in a hospitality and/or luxury setting preferred.
  • Shift times are subject to change at any time, based on Department's needs. Applicants must be able to provide flexible availability, and can be scheduled for various shift times as needed by the Department Manager.
