QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
Requires ability to interpret / extract information and / or perform arithmetic functions. May require typing, CRT, record keeping, or word processing. May have need for good communication skills.
This position requires a minimum formal education of a high school diploma and a minimum of less than six months job-related experience.
Welcomes guests, solves minor problems, and ensures guests have a great stay.
Enters data into computer, including some minor accounting functions.
Registers guests in and out of the conference center. Establishes and secures proper guest credit. Handles any billing questions and inquiries.
Solves guest-related problems within scope of authority.
Enters wake-up call requests into PBX system.
Generates reports for Front Desk, Engineering, and Housekeeping.
Performs all accounting duties including posting charges, account settlements, and shift closing.
Answers phones and relays messages to guests as well as other conference center associates.
Brings mail, packages, and messages to guests as needed.
Completes a daily shift audit and balances all account settlements, charges, etc. to the property management system. Handles all cash transactions and maintains a personal bank.
Protect the assets of the property.
Maintain professional appearance and behavior when in contact with customers and fellow associates.
Follow policies and procedures in training manuals and the associate handbook.
Always remember our partnership with our clients, fellow associates, and investors to provide quality service and maintain profitability.
Establish self-improvement goals by staying current with necessary training requirements for this position.
