The Tremont House, a 119 room historic hotel nestled in the historic Strand district of Galveston, is currently seeking an Outlet Manager to assist in the coordination and supervision of all aspects of the F&B outlets' operations, including, but not limited to, Guest Service; grooming standards; scheduling; staffing; time and attendance; cash handling; POS - MICROS; and Big 4 and Beverage inventories, while maintaining profitable F&B outlets and high quality products and service levels. He/she is expected to market ideas to promote business; reduce employee turnover; maintain revenue and payroll budgets; and meet budgeted productivity while keeping quality consistently high. He/she will also provide input on wine lists, product pricing, all menus, and uniforms.

Minimum Qualifications Required:
  • At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field; or a 2-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience.
  • Experience in MICROS and Kronos helpful.
  • Previous supervisory experience required.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Must have knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, liquor laws and regulations.
  • Four diamond hospitality experience highly desirable.
  • Applicants must be willing to work all shifts, all days, and all holidays.
