Position Details

Duties and Supporting Responsibilities

  • Support company's philosophy and company culture through the use of Pillars of Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement
  • Provide leadership and support for Bartenders, Servers and Barback staff
  • Train, develop, evaluate and schedule Bartenders, Servers and Barback staff
  • Performs administrative duties such as, scheduling, payroll, labor management and inventory control
  • Responsible for the recruitment and selection of new colleagues
  • Provide excellent service at all time to all of our guests
  • Assist guests courteously and efficiently
  • Manages day to day Bar and Tea Lounge operations
  • Supervise and maintain the cleanliness of the Bar and Tea Lounge at all times
  • Chair monthly departmental colleague meeting
  • Conduct daily communication meeting with staff prior to shift
  • Ensure Bar and Lounge MOQA, Forbes and LQE service standards are adhered to
  • Accountable for the performance management of colleagues, including property evaluation cycle and coaching program
  • Uphold and enforce all hotel policies and procedures as stated in hotel colleague handbook and reviewed during new hire departmental checklist process
  • Communicate all group information/changes to appropriate hotel colleagues in an accurate and timely manner
  • Entertain clients, as appropriate
  • Coordinate all aspects of service to include but not limited to:
    • Food and beverage requirements
    • Timing of events
    • Special attention guests
    • Table setup
    • Special requests
    • Complimentary desserts, drinks, etc.
    • Billing instructions
    • Authorized signatures



  • Read, write and oral proficiency of the English language
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule and holidays
  • Self-motivator and motivator of others
  • Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of food and preparation
  • Have a in-depth knowledge of wine
  • Be able to relate to all levels of guests and management
  • Have a minimum of 3 years experience in similar position, preferably in luxury environment
  • Have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
  • Have excellent communication and organization skills
  • Be able to consistently delight and satisfy our guest
  • Have the ability to handle guest requests in a detailed manner
  • Must have excellent attention to details, and extensive service knowledge
