Job Description
Position Summary:

As we continue to grow and service our portfolio through acquisitions and new management contracts, we are looking to hire a Development Analyst to support Acquisitions, Development and Management Services. We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual with relevant hospitality/real estate education and work experience to join First Hospitality Group.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

· Assist with the research, writing and preparation of internal and client-specific presentations, proposals and pitches

· Assist senior management with financial analysis of projects, including forecasting and market assessment

· Perform cash flow and valuation analysis for potential acquisitions using Excel modeling

· Assist senior management in negotiating, coordinating and executing new management contracts

· Assist senior management in conducting project due diligence to determine viability of new projects, including market and supply/demand analysis and site inspections

· Assist in preliminary project negotiation by liaising closely with the senior management

· Ongoing market feasibility and financial due diligence throughout project development process

· Communicate with owners, partners and franchisors regarding our existing portfolio and new opportunities

· Collaborate with our property-based and corporate support teams as needed for project valuation and execution

· Assist with reporting and for various ownership groups within our existing portfolio

· Meet with hotel executive/regional teams and owners to review monthly, quarterly and annual operating performance

· Assist in managing deadlines, status reports and client meetings/conference calls

· Keep current on all markets affecting the hospitality industry - monitor significant hotel and tourism trends, sales, indicators, performance statistics and related topics
