To manage the food and beverage departments of the hotel to include food preparation, food service and lounge service. To ensure standards of operation and quality are maintained. To maximize the food and beverage profits of the hotel.
1. Maintain standards of food and beverage quality and guest service quality established by system operations. 2. Achieve budgeted revenues, control expenses, and maximize profitability within all areas of the food and beverage department. 3. Develop, implement and maintain local food and beverage marketing programs for the hotel. 4. Assist Executive Chef with menu planning and design. 5. Develop annual budgets. 6. Maintain inventory controls. 7. Manage department to be in compliance with company policies and procedures. 8. Schedule employees under direct supervision and monitor scheduling of indirect subordinates to ensure proper level of staffing. 9. Must maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times in accordance with hotel standards of grooming and standards of conduct. 10. Perform any duty requested of you by your supervisor. 11. Must always make guest satisfaction a priority within the guidelines of the Hotel Guest Satisfaction System. Be willing to assist in any other department/task that may ask for his/her assistance.
