The Hilton St. Charles Hotel Executive Lounge Supervisor supervises the day to day operations in the executive Lounge. Comforts guests throughout their stay by providing exceptional food & beverage service in the executive lounge. The Executive Lounge Supervisor contributes to the first impressions of our Guests by servicing the Executive Lounge to the highest standards.

Essential job functions include, but are not limited to


* Welcome executive Guests upon arrival providing positive, professional guest interactions. Answer guest questions and solve problems/complaints promptly, making guests feel welcome.
* Supervise and address the performance of executive lounge attendants.
* Leadership tasks as assigned by Hotel Leadership team.
* Assist with coaching, counseling and training/development of executive lounge attendants.
* Assist with hiring, recruiting and on-boarding of executive lounge attendants.
* Ensure proper scheduling and staffing of the executive lounge.
* Ordering and inventorying food & beverage items for the executive lounge.
* Prepare (some cooking), set-up and serves breakfast for our executive Guests as well as evening refreshments and snacks.
* Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for overall satisfaction. Abide by all State/Federal/Local/Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
* Check lounge before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness. At closing of the lounge, responsible for cleaning, restocking supplies and resetting the room for the next shift.
* Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset all service ware.
* Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning. Responsible for cleaning all executive lounge china, flatware, etc.
* Daily general cleaning of lounge area and kitchens (i.e. sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping surfaces, etc.)
* Work and communicate with different departments of the property to ensure proper guest service.
* Stay current with all hotel services as well as VIP requests and special events
* Demonstrate a knowledge of external locations, attractions and landmarks in the vicinity
* Project a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and Guest service
* Comply with Hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
* Serve your role and Team in an environmentally-conscience manner
* Perform any other job related duties when assigned.






Experience, Skills and Knowledge

*At least 1 year Customer Service and/or Food Service experience is required. Previous Hotel Executive/Club Lounge experience strongly preferred. Previous Supervisory experience strongly preferred.


*Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.

*Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.

*Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 150 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.

*Must have the ability to communicate in English.
