Job Description

Hilton Stamford Hotel & Executive Meeting Center is seeking an Executive Housekeeper with Creole and Spanish language capabilities and familiarity with union environment. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years housekeeping management experience in a 300+ room full service hotel. The Executive Housekeeper manages all facets of the housekeeping department to ensure high levels of guest service satisfaction.

The Hilton Stamford is conveniently located in the First Stamford Place Plaza, less than 1 mile from downtown Stamford and Harbor Point business offices, restaurants, and entertainment. With 484 guest rooms and a state of the art IACC approved conference center with 60,000 square feet of available flexible meeting spaces, it is a fantastic property.

Take a look at

1. Establish and implement operational standards and procedures for the department
2. Recommend changes that could improve service and increase operational efficiency
3. Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that services are provided in an efficient and timely manner
4. Responsible for maintaining the housekeeping budget
5. Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary
6. All other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

1. 5 years of experience in Housekeeping Management in 300+ room hotel
2. Creole and Spanish languages
3. Familiarity with union environment
4. Experience with hotel information systems and brand standards
5. High school diploma or equivalent preferred
