Position Description:

Embassy Suites DFW Airport North in Grapevine, Texas is seeking a full-time salaried Executive Housekeeper to manage all facets of housekeeping operations to deliver an excellent Guest experience while monitoring housekeeping standards. Includes rooms, laundry, public areas, department storage areas and work areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.

Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff: hiring, performance evaluations, training and development. Schedule staff according to standards and forecasted occupancy.

2.

Operate housekeeping department within departmental budgets through effective stock and cost controls and well managed schedules

3.

Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of the Housekeeping Team with an emphasis on training and teamwork

4.

Ensure housekeeping associates are knowledgeable of all room categories and amenities and adhere to brand standards of cleanliness

5.

Ensure staffing levels cover business demands

6.

Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures

7.

Communicate effectively with front office and engineering regarding status of guest rooms

8.

All other duties as assigned
