Job Details

The responsibilities of the Executive Housekeeper include, but not limited to:

  • Plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls all housekeeping activity to provide clean, safe environment and courteous service to hotel guests as inexpensively as possible

  • Plans and organizes all work of the department and directs a staff of one assistant, linen room attendant, laundry supervisor, senior housekeepers and such staff as necessary.

  • Delegates responsibilities to utilize their talents most effectively and operate department most effectively.

  • Inspects guest rooms and all public corridors and outlets daily to ensure that the quality assurance program is in effect.

  • Interviews, hires, helps orientate and trains all housekeeping personnel.

  • Produces and approves budget for the Housekeeping Department in conjunction with Senior Management.

  • Purchases and oversees receiving, storing, directs and controls use of all housekeeping supplies.

  • Participates in the Management On Duty Program

  • Reports directly to Assistant General Manager

  • Ideal candidates must have at least four (4) years of current Hotel experience in the same or equivalent position, with similar responsibilities, and equal to, or higher sales volumes/ property size. Only candidates located within the continental United States will be considered.

  • Four year degree preferred

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
