Position Details

The Club Manager is responsible for, but not limited to, the overall Oriental Club, including arrival and departure of VIPs.

  • Plan, organize, and motivates Assistant Club Manager and Guest Services Executive to excel in delivering excellent service to all arrival guests.
  • Monitor monthly Food and beverage cost and Profit and Loss expenses for Oriental Club.
  • Ensure adequate staff coverage that meets the demand in the hotel.
  • Checks the next day arrival report and ensure the guest history remarks and amenities are in place.
  • Meets VIPs and perform guest relation duties and obtain comments and feedback.
  • Assign Club rooms and checks arrival VIPs room and ensure the requests and needs are met.
  • Guide, coach, counsels and evaluates the performance of Assistant Club Manager and Guest Services Executives.
  • Is primarily responsible for the efficient and effective management of the Guest Services Executive in the provision of the Oriental Club (Cashier, F&B & Concierge) and Guest Services (VIPs arrival) areas.
  • Checks attendance, punctuality and deportment of Guest Services Executives.
  • Conduct and attend daily briefings and share any information/interests.
  • Train, guide, coach and develop Guest Services Executive to handle day-to-day duties/tasks more efficiently.
  • Liaise closely with Rooms Division Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager on any special events, VIPs arrival and ensure pertinent information and instructions/changes are disseminated.
  • Ensure the ambience, cleanliness and exclusivity at Oriental Club and Front Office area is maintained at all times.
  • Forecast the next 7 Days Food and Beverage for Oriental Club and ensure sufficient staff coverage.
  • Attend to any VIPs complaints or comments/feedback.
  • Ensure to uphold a high level of safety precaution -FLHSS and HACCP at all times.
  • Maintain an active presence in the Club lounge and Front Desk.
  • Check the weekly duty roster for Oriental Club department and ensure that there is adequate staff coverage to meet the demands of the hotel.
  • Conduct and support Assistant Club Manager in weekly departmental training.
  • Write personalised welcome back card for repeat Club guests.
  • Attend daily and weekly internal department or related meetings/briefings.
  • Chairs Guest Services Executive-Oriental Club meetings to enhance the level of service and resolve work issues.

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Managers.
