Dolce Norwalk, a Dolce collection is searching for an Event Meeting Manager to work at our beautiful property located in Norwalk, CT. This position is responsible for managing a day meeting territory and meeting or exceeding yearly revenue goals by developing accounts and business opportunities. This position will focus on the selling and servicing conference and social events.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
market territory based on annual room revenue target. This includes identifying
potential day meeting/small meeting business, negotiating room nights and
rates, and closing the deal with a signed contract.
and coordinates details for day and small meetings. This including completing
accurate BEO’s, upselling food, beverage, room rental, recreation, special
amenities and technology.
prospects and solicits new contacts and business opportunities for day meetings
and small meetings.
as on-site contact for day meeting and small meeting groups, and larger groups
tickets for master billing including contract services, room rental and day
weekly backlog reports and other departmental reports as designated.
with Conference Sales Managers, Global Sales Managers, and Revenue Manager to
assure maximum utilization of facility.
weekly resume meeting, daily ops meeting, sales meetings, training programs,
and other meetings as designated.
feedback to Director of Sales and Marketing relating to guest comments,
observations, rumors, industry news, etc.
up with client contact at the end of each meeting to ensure satisfaction and
· Assists with and completes special projects and assignments as
designated by the Director of Sales and Marketing.

college degree and a minimum of two years of job related experience in
